Its founder grew up fishing the Yodogawa River and Lake Biwako, and was inspired by a fishing manga in elementary school to start making his own lures — a journey that continues to shape the brand today. OBASSLIVE's philosophy centers on one question: "Why does a bass strike a lure?" — answered through deliberate, feed-triggering lure design.

Signature products include the category-defining worming vibration "MOLAMOLA," its variants MOLAMOLA BR (Bone Rattle) and MOLAMOLA Doryu, and the newer "Laboon."
