deps is a Japanese lure brand founded in 1996 by lure designer Kazumasa Okumura, dedicated to trophy bass hunting. Headquartered in the Saiin district of Kyoto and tested extensively on Lake Biwako, deps channels Okumura's uncompromising big-fish philosophy into every product. The brand's debut spinnerbait, the "B-Custom," released in 1997, established deps as a force in both the Japanese and international bass scenes.

Signature products include the Death Adder stickbait, the legendary bluegill-profile soft plastic "BullFlat," the no-sinker fall bait "Cover Scat," and the "Evoke" crankbait series — each engineered with no compromise for the singular purpose of landing trophy-class largemouth.
