The "Direct Hustler" makes possible a big bait game in the mid to deep range, something that was previously difficult. At first glance it is a single swisher with a simple silhouette, but the prop with its eccentric axis imparts micro-vibrations to the separate tail section, and thanks to the upward mounting angle and a prop setting that floats freely on the screw eye, the sound of contact with the hook and the irregular motion of the prop occasionally locking up become bite triggers. The single prop, designed with rise suppression and fall speed in mind, allows a dead-slow retrieve while keeping a horizontal posture. As for the snags that are a concern when working the bottom, the wire guard developed on the "Calling Hustler" greatly reduces hang-ups, letting you trace sunken brush piles and other submerged structure without hesitation. Built strong enough for monster fish with powerful jaws, and equipped with a through-wire and swivel hook eyes, this is a sinking single swisher for deep-water tactics that is expected to shine in a wide range of situations.
