Typically, long-bill minnows face significant water resistance against the lip, making wide darting action difficult to achieve. The +1 solves this by positioning a specially shaped diving bill along the body's central axis. This design efficiently channels water flow from the lip to the head of the body, delivering sharp, wide darting action despite the extended lip length. The vivid flashing produced by the edged flat-sided body is highly effective in deeper mid-range waters. When short-lip jerkbaits run too shallow and spoon bills or crankbaits dive too deep, the +1 fills that gap perfectly, enabling aggressive and powerful jerkbait presentations in the mid-range zone. Additionally, the unique diving bill dramatically reduces air resistance during casting. Combined with a dual tungsten weight transfer system arranged in series, the +1 achieves exceptional casting distance even in rough conditions.
